It turned into a big, time-consuming project with surprising results. Can you explain the final result of my experiments?

Glad you like it, Matthew. It is a mystery to me, why cobalt and nickel are so much more attracted at a distance, when iron is clearly the strongest right on the magnet. I hope we'll figure it out eventually :)

Wow! That was really interesting, they don't teach you about this kind of thing in school. I have no idea why they behave that way but am excited to find out.
