So. I think what makes some of your roleplays so good is that they feel genuine. Despite some people claiming to not want that kind of thing, they do. We all need the affection that you bring to life in those roleplays. And you're right, it does NOT take the place of real human affection, but it does help.

I’ve found that they have helped me reconnect with my wife. We’ve been married for 26 years and over that time kids, jobs, and aging parents take a toll on our intimacy. Your work has helped me with ideas on how to rekindle our love for each other. Your work also helps me relax after a shitty day so I can be a nice person around my wife instead of heaping my frustrations on her. There is no shame at all in listening and imagining oneself in these stories. It is a perfectly healthy way of dealing with the ups and downs of everyday life.

Thank you tea. I am one in a long line to admit that what you and a bunch of other VAs do actually help me. They give me a little sense of normality. I come home, I do what I need to do around my house and I go to sleep listen long to your sounds (as creepy as it sounds). They help take the weight off my shoulders so I can sleep easier. They have a certain kind of love that I am looking for and a passion for the content that they put out that showed that they care. And it may give me a sense of non reciprocal love it is something non the less and it is what’s helping me believe that I can have someone for myself whom I can share my love with. Until then I’ll happily listen to your audios

Sometimes you wanna hear another voice comfort you, sometimes you just don't wanna feel like your alone, sometimes you wanna hear a good character driven story. Either way, there's no point in feeling shameful about enjoying something that isn't real. Be happy with yourself and know that this doesn't make you a pitiful or sad person. It just means that there are times when we need to hear another voice other than our own.

I admit I did feel that way at first. I was so embarrassed listening to these role plays even though no one else would ever know or care that I was listening to them. It was like I was judging myself. I'm still getting over that weird feeling, I'm still not completely comfortable, but you're right. Its entertainment. There's nothing to be ashamed of, and I'm here on your Patreon so I like the audios enough to pay for them.
