No one can fault you for being human. Making mistakes is part of how we learn to better ourselves, we fall sometimes over and over again but the important part is never giving up to push forward because eventually we'll achieve the goal we worked towards. It's how I look at it while i'm writing a novel, I may mess up, put myself into a corner, I'll just start again and again until I feel i've gotten it right. We learn and grow, and it's good that we do, Mistakes are just apart of what makes us who we are. "Your past doesn't Define who you are, It just gives you the starting point for who you're going to be." And "In our lives, we get stuck on things that feel so important at the time, only to look back at them at the end of our lives and realize just how silly they were." those quotes always come to mind when i think of mistakes, it reminds me that we may make mistakes but in the long run it's not the end, we have a chance to try again and move forward. The mistakes are what make it special.

Oh yeah?! Well, thank YOU! So, there. (Hah. Sure showed her.) Seriously though, thank you for being you. I know it can be conflicting to get a lot of "you're awesome"s when you just feel like... You. But that's the thing. WE think YOU are awesome. I read somewhere that just showering with affirmations can actually be a destructive strategy if someone is struggling with low self esteem (because it's setting high expectations you feel you can't meet or something). But please know you ARE meeting ALL our expectations, and then some. I also read that a good old fashioned hug reduces stress and does a whole bunch of other nice stuff, so here: ~Transfering virtual hug~ (Edit: Oh, and an imaginary homemade pizza!)
