I am heavily biased towards the fight one, simply because of one fact: For the most part, I am a relationship cynic. Or at least a realist. I'm aware that relationships that have no fights in them are not GOOD relationships. When you two aren't fighting, EVER, it is typically a sign that one of you doesn't feel secure in the relationship or safe to talk freely and honestly to the partner. Fights get a bad rap, but they are a part of any relationship, because we as humans are flawed individuals. We aren't perfect, no matter how much we want to be. Encountering, knowing how to fight, and how to make up after a fight, this is the important part of relationship training and the part that I was unprepared for in my first relationship. It could really use more discussing and openness.
