What up T? So I'm a little late to the game but this is a little personal so I'm still ganna submit this request. I'll try to keep the tragic back story short but it is needed for some context. So a couple years back I used to be pretty built. I needed a way out of my depression and the weights were my way out. I actually had people come to me durring my workouts and say I should try to go pro. Going pro wasn't my thing so I just stuck to working out for fun. Eventually a group of fellow lifters brought me into their group and as sad as it sounds, I was happy. I found a group of friends while being an adult which was awesome. We all hung out durring and after lifts and everything. My friends pushed me harder than I ever trained but eventually I got to a point when I couldn't keep up with them. I started to get discouraged and admittedly my ego took a huge hit but one day after failing to lift as much as them one of my friends offered my something to "help" me get up to their level. Just like that everything made sense how they could be tired go to the restroom and come back wired out the wazoo. I guess I was just too blind to see it. In my defense it's hard to work out without my glasses. Ba dum tss. Anyways my deflecting humor aside. I was crushed and I left that friend group. They turned angry quick and now whenever I was struggling with a weight some of my former friends were there to laugh at me for being weak. I know I wasn't weak but I didn't see it at the time. One day to squeeze out one more rep over my max I used bad form, I just wanted to prove to myself that I didn't need any of their "help" I wanted to prove to myself that I wasn't weak. Lifting weights now became my way to prove something instead of having fun. Low and behold I flew too close to the sun and came crashing down. I injured myself really bad. Durring my year and a half of recovering I switched to gluttony. Food was my comfort and I ballooned in weight. I'm not trying to fat shame anyone but for me almost doubling my weight just made me feel even worse. So a couple of months ago I decided to get back at it like a Crack addict. Sorry that's a saying where I am from. I slowly have been walking and watching what I eat to try and get back to my healthy self. No weights yet but I'll get there. I've lost 15 pounds so far and I plan on getting back to where I was but I would like some help in the form of encouragement. I don't really have much of a support system except myself. Now while I do encourage myself I would like to make a few audio request for when I really feeling down because I am starting from rock bottom. This can be a series if u want.
