As someone who has been dealing with trust issues I have always found it hard to reach out to anyone. I have lived by the motto "do it yourself, it keeps knifes out of your back"

True, but not everyone can pull themselves out. That's why there's so many people out there who are stuck with no way out. The only way out of my situation is my eye disease being cured which I doubt will ever happen. I appreciate the advice though.

I play that aviators song "no one will save you now" during tough boss fights in games to remind me that I will either succeed or fail on my own merits and skill, nobody is coming its all on me

Wish I had IRL friends to make it easier though, I have really bad social anxiety. I almost never leave my house but Iβve been very slowly improving myself over the years, but life is so exhausting and yet here I am doing things to make myself live a longer healthy life. Iβm looking forward to a day where it pays off
