Yes, we should absolutely be grateful for what we have, but we're not monsters for feeling shitty, either. Life is hard for everyone. Everyone has problems and everyone knows what it feels like to just wanna crawl into a hole and never come out. That doesn't make us selfish or weak or bad people. It means being alive is hard and sometimes being quiet and unplugging from the world is the best possible coping method available to us.
Be kind to yourself and others. None of us want it to be this hard.
