I'm so sorry you have IBS. I know the pain bowel diseases cause (Crohn's), and they are never fun. Something I found that helps is keeping a food diary. Use it to keep track of what you eat, and when the IBS flares up. It'll help you find patterns of what food causes problems, so you know to either avoid the foods that cause the issue, or brace for the upset stomach if you eat something that you know causes problems, but enjoy too much to cut out altogether.
