People. Don't. Want. Honesty! They want to be validated. Anyone who asks you to "be honest" and they "won't get mad" WILL get pissed when you don't gove them a validating opinion. The truth hurts. Bear this in mind...but don't stop being honest because of it. Use your best judgment and phrasing. There's no need to be a dick while being honest. But that's all just my honest opinion.🤷‍♂️

I literally had this shit happen to me back in September. I was asked to be honest and that they wouldn't be mad. The proceeded to treat me like the bad guy when I was honest. I walked away and haven't looked back. It was unreal.

I usually let them go off then apologize for doing exactly what they asked then they really get mad. I'm just like my brother in christ you have ruined your own day and made mine. The 4 people who haven't gotten mad are now my best friends/ fiance
