Try not to be so harsh on yourself. It's fine to be critical of your own work so that you can improve but stewing on it only makes things worse. I know from experience that it's hard, but when you are in those moments try to take others' praise as genuine. It can all feel like empty words, especially when it is just text on a screen, but every single one is a person who values and enjoys your work. Commissions aren't something you should feel guilty about. You are an artist and it is just another thing that helps bills get paid. I feel pretty confident in saying that the vast majority of people engaging the online art space are well aware and accepting that it is just something that has to be done. That all said, if you just needed to vent a bit that is perfectly fine as well! Just keep on keeping on and I look forward to seeing more beautiful pieces from you!
