😳 A New NSFW-Friendly Platform 😳 (Your Thoughts Would Be Greatly Appreciated)

They have instead advised me to find an alternative membership site.
Do any of you guys have a preference with any of these, would you be comfortable switching to them? I've heard great things about OnlyFans and Unifans (they're both trusted and universally recognised membership site), but if there are others you'd like me to consider, I'm happy to do that.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I feel like Patreon's suspension of our page is the first of potentially many bad omens.
I wanna keep my job and I want you guys to keep your content.

Hey there, Teacup! I'm not sure OnlyFans would help you keep the tiered membership as it currently exists, but as a NSFW-friendly site I'd at least recommend it as a backup. Figuring out your own personal website solution is likely to be best in the long term, in case things go south again, at least as my own two cents.

I think that so long as tier prices remain the same then any of these sites would do. I don't know if audio content works on them though because I've never actually used any.

That wasn't the app store, it was pressure from outside groups on their credit card servicers that made them almost cut off OF from being able to charge credit cards. OnlyFans doesn't have an app at all.

Fansly would likely be best. As long as my year long sub is accounted for in any moving of sites I am happy with it 🙂🙃

I’d consider which of these have apps in the App Store, as that’s the easiest way to consume a lot of content, like audio RPs. OF doesn’t have an app on the Apple App Store, which while not impossible to circumvent (a user could just get to it through a browser on their phone) it does add an annoying barrier and the website might be clunky on mobile devices, thus making getting to your content more of a hassle.

In my experience of using OnlyFans, their messaging/DM situation can often be problematic, messages not sending or certain words or phrases not being allowed (but you're not told what those phrases are?). And their audio player can/will sometimes drop quality for no reason. Those are the only "down sides" I could think of if you go OF.

im with you on that. i use paypal and would never like to give my card info to them. i also wouldnt like the onlyfans popping up on my card statement i get in the mail every month and seeing my mother read that🤣

Almost all other content I pay for is on Fansly, and this is the only one I really pay attention to on Patreon anymore, so that would be the ideal switch for me personally

Onlyfans might not be the best idea as I've seen that many OF creators have been expressing concerns with the platform and it's management. And, as someone else here pointed out, you can't do different tiers like you do here. Fansly might be a good option since they let you do tiers and are a little more lax on what they consider acceptable content, at least compared to Onlyfans. And I don't know much about Unifans or Fanbox, but on the surface it seems like either would be a decent platform. Unifans looks most interesting since it has different payment options, high revenue split for creators, and few restrictions on content.

Fansly or Gumroad would be great. Gumroad would allow you to sell to non-patrons as well, enhancing your revenue.

I know some people do NSFW audio stuff through Fansly and so far they haven’t had any complaints about it. The other 2 I don’t know a ton about personally, which isn’t to say that they wouldn’t work either. Either way, let us know if and when we need to switch, and I would do it in a heartbeat

There are sites like Subscribestar and Gumroad. On Gumroad you can sell audios at any price to non subscribers and maybe you can sell your Mommy/Stepsister NSFW audios there, Juicy Peach audio does and she has Patreon, Gumroad and her website. As for me moving... I don't know, unless you get suspended again I'll do it.

As a small addendum, while I am part of those who are unwilling to give their information away (and would be left behind subsequently) I'd say the switch from Patreon away will be inevitable. In the last years Patreon has really clamped down on what's possible to achieve here with NSFW content. The jump will cone sooner or later. And people will just have to accept that content creators will migrate away from it.

I'm just gonna say this now. The main hurdle when switching to a new platform will be the way the let us pay. Many, while being good sites in their own right, let you only pay with a credit card. Many either don't have access to one or are unwilling to give that information away. After all, that's precisely why PayPal got to where it is today. So for you Tea it will probably fall down to what you are willing to lose when switching. Either stay and be restricted to what you can post or leave and leave behind a portion of your patreons. In contrast to my earlier statement, when switching you will leave behind some people. So maybe the portion that gets left behind because of the payment method will largely overlap with the people the would have left anyway. Only way to find out is probably to try.

Subscribestar is used my many NSFW creators and has similar layout and functionality as patreon. Fansly could also work and you can make different subscription tiers unlike Onlyfans. And you can charge people to send you DMs Pixiv Fanbox is also a good option. Though they've started limiting NSFW content based on region. I personally dislike Onlyfans. The ui isn't really user friendly and it's hard to sort through a creator's content.

I don't like only fans as it's UI is just as antiquated as patreon. I like the ability to sort / categorize my content creators. I have never heard of the other website you mentioned yet would be willing to try it

I wouldn’t mind the only fans but very recently (last week I believe) they had a massive data breach and put a lot of names to creators (I’m not against only fans just want to make sure your safe!)
