❤️ You’re Doing Great, You Silly Mammal ❤️
🕑 Added 2024-08-04 15:47:21 +0000 UTCIt’s so easy to convince ourselves that we should always aspire to be productive, always aim high, always strive for doing or even being the next best thing.
And whilst there’s nothing inherently wrong with that, it’s just… not for me. I don’t want to be anything big or great. I don’t want people to remember me (besides my family and loved ones). I just want to feel okay in as many moments as I can.
And today I feel a bit… slump-y. Not quite good, not quite bad.
And when I feel this way, I make a slump day list. I jot down all the things I’ve done during the day, completely mundane, ordinary things that nobody would call aspirational, and it helps to remind me that I am very successful at being a living breathing mammal.
Maybe it could do the same for you.
Remember: you’re not a brand or a salary or a relationship status - you’re just a lovely little mammal doing what they can.

Thanks for the encouragement and comfort Tea! It's been a hard few weeks and you're audios have gotten me through it. Side note: the phrase "You Silly Mammal" desperately makes me want an audio where a non-mammal gf, (scale/alien/mythological creature) comforts and flirts with her human partner that way. It's so cute 🥺

That's all any of us can do is try not to get caught up in the big game of life and just remember to try your best every day and enjoy life we only get one Ps: thank you tea for the encouraging words it's nice see some just trying ther best to get by day by day thank you for being you

That's a great list of things to do Tea. I agree we don't always have to do anything grand to feel better. Sometimes doing mundane and activities that you like are enough to feel great.
