The truth is, some people are chronically ill. Their everyday lives are impacted by illness. And some of those people will be in relationships. The audio is merely trying to show an example of that.
I hope that I haven’t glamorised chronic illness. I’m autistic and I get colds and chest infections a lot. There’s nothing romantic about your body physically stopping you from accessing events, plans or meet-ups. But regardless of our individual circumstances, the human spirit has a way of making the best of it.
