First of all (and less important), I think people are getting the wrong idea about polls and I think they are doing more harm than good, all characters in the polls will have animations. Polls have 2 purposes, it helps me to prioritize the most voted characters and most important: statistics. This is important because I will start to make renders of the non winner characters, mixing most and less voted characters. So it doesn't matter if the popular characters wins a poll, after they receive an animation the other characters will have a chance to have one too.
It's impossible to make animations of all the characters at the same time, so the only way to make an animation of that obscure 1% voted character is patience. (and they will receive renders now, so now people will be able to get an idea of what that character would look like in action and maybe vote for they next time).
Now, what I wanted to talk about:
I have been making content since May 2021 and always tried to do monthly animations, but I'm stating to feel burnout. Lately I've been struggling to do monthly animations and always end up finishing them the following month and is not supposed to be like that.
I will delay Edelgard animation to next month, the animation will be released In this folder so you can still receive the reward even if you can't continue supporting.
I still have content to post before the end of the month... just not animations. I hope you can understand, and that I can take this little break without having to worry.

I have the feeling that I'm not meeting the expectations, of course I like do animations, but I really want some time to start looking for problems and finding solutions. I even bought a book for animating, but I haven't had the time to read it.

I havent had much of a prescense commenting here but i can tell things have been a lil much lately and honestly i believe its perfectly understandable if you’d like to slow down or take a brake. Hope you’ll find a simpler way that feels more manageable as i remain in the shadows ^-^

You know, I firmly believe that an artist performs their best when creating what THEY want to make, rather than what others expect them to make. So that makes me wonder, are you making the kind of content that YOU personally want to create? Or do you feel beholden to external expectations? You don't have to answer if you don't want, but I've found it's been an important question to consider in my own experiences with burnout.

I can imagine that the combination of burnout and the... let's say *heated* poll probably can't be very good for one's mental wellbeing. Take care of yourself, look forward to seeing what you put out when you're able to! :D

I understand. I'm feeling a lot of burnout from various things going on in my life, so I can relate. I can't blame you for feeling the same exact way. I've followed you from practically the very beginning, so I know you've been a hard worker and put out some amazing content over the years. You deserve a rest. I don't want to put any additional pressure on you, but you didn't mention the Futaba animation at all in the post. I'm not sure what the fate of it will be, but it's okay. Nothing has ever worked out in my life. If it never gets finished, it'll be nothing new for me. And if it does and I'm not around to heap praise on you for it, it's because the chaos of my life finally caught up to me. I'd never unfollow you. I'll keep supporting you as long as life lets me, no matter what. But some things are out of my hands and my future looks bleak at the moment. Just please take care of yourself, and never lose your spirit. You're too talented to ever give up. I know you're capable of amazing things. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Just wanted to post this, in case the worst-case scenario happens soon, and I don't get another chance to tell you.

It's understandable for you to have a burnout. Every animator experiences it eventually. You should be able to take time for yourself to relax, we can be patient for your work

Honestly dude its all good people can understand the need for a break month, as for the polls i think even if you had it in bold prefacing each poll there would still be people who miss the point that is a priority poll rather than a elimination contest. Sorry for any anxiety you had in posting this but honestly I wouldnt see it as something to worry over. The more popular u get the more people there will be who dont know how the polls worked historically. Plus most other artists im subbed to take at least 1 break month a year.

Everyone suffers from burnout when they put a lot of work into anything for a good period of time, so this is perfectly understandable. No one wants to crash and burn from an overload of work and burnout, so the best thing to do is to take everything at a pace that is best for you. I also appreciate you explaining how your polls work and everything, it'll put a lot of minds at ease knowing this. Closing out, do what is best for you and take as much time as you want with it all. Times are tough these days, and you deserve a rest and break for all the hard work you strive for and put out for us. 👍
