BearExxa V2 Beta Release
🕑 Added 2022-03-06 18:55:27 +0000 UTCIt is is time for the release! Please find attached the files for BearExxa V2 beta1 release at the end of this post.
Once download you can look at bom. md to see which hardware parts you need and print_settings. md for the details on how to print the files.
Once you have printed the parts and have all the hardware in hands you can follow the quick assembly guide pictures one after the other.
The extruder is compatible with all the previous version of the X ends (x_end_motor, x_end_idler, x_end_idler_tensioner), no need to reprint those. You can just print the extruder and X carriage parts.
Note that the X ends included in the release are the exact same files as the current one on GitHub. I will update them in the next release. The release also includes only STL at the moment, the CAD source will come later obviously.

There is no way I can protect my work if I share the CAD files. I can't share it with an open source license as this is limited to the Patreon's audience and this is against open source licensing. So beta shared here will be without source file but I am happy to share individually some files if needed.

Can we please get source CAD files for this release? Those of us who agreed to test this out and provide feedback shouldn't be penalized for doing a nice thing.

You can give a try, it might work. I am evaluating a 23mm at the moment but with better specs than this one. Set the current to 470mA for testing out (might get a little warm for long PLA prints)

Hello. I am slowly prepping for a rebuild. Bom states that Nema 17 25mm LDO 42STH25-1004AC motor is required. I already have 42BYGH23 from Triangle labs. Can I use it? Its 21 N/cm weaker. Rest looks identical.
