I have been working on improving several things on the BearExxa V2 as well as applying several feedback (it is still time to share some in case of). One of the next feature is the support of MMU2S (or ERCF) with detection of the filament passing between the print gears. As I don't have or use MMU2S I can only do partial testing so it will be an experimental version. So far the sensing looks to work well with almost no need to adjust the chimney position.
I hope this will be useful for some of you :)

Sorry for that :D Yes correct, no replacement of the extruder body will be required. Modifications needed are: - replacement of e_fs_adapter and e_fs_cover - add the little chimney on top - Move the filament sensor pcb into the chimney - will need 1x M3x30mm, 2x M3x10, 1x M3 square nut, 1x M3 hex nut I would still recommend to first use the extruder without MMU2S/ERCF to get familiarized and then move to multicolor printing.

Just wanted to rebuild Bear... And now I am looking at ERCF BOM... Thanks :D Do I understand correctly that idea here is that reprint/reinstall of body parts will not be required? Just installing new ones like lever, top part and repositioning sensor?
