In the last post, there were some messages that I wanted to write a post about.
I've been seeing people mad/upset about the possibility of NTR content in Zombie's Retreat. I wanted to clarify some things.
Warning, this post does contain spoilers for the most recent update in ZR
If you don't know what NTR is, I won't explain it, but a quick google search should give you the idea!
Anyways, from the beginning, it's been hinted & later explained that women coming into contact with zombies become helplessly in love with them. The THREAT of NTR has always been there but canonically, the player prevents this from ever happening.
When I introduced Ann's storyline, I wanted to write about a tragic situation. Ann & L-001's relationship was originally a very close relationship similar to the main character & Leslie. Being betrayed by the villain of ZR2 is what caused them to be in their scenario.
However, there seems to be some disagreeing on what exactly is NTR. The MC can POTENTIALLY find Ann & L-001 being intimate (the Z-choice gives you the option to alter & avoid this scenario). At this point in the story, the MC has no clue who Ann even is. I don't define this as NTR. He has no previous romantic interest/relationship in her. If anything, Ann's dialogue later suggests that she's falling for the player. This is reverse NTR or Netori. However, L-001 doesn't really care either way about the two of them.
To people who are mad at 'sloppy-seconds'. That, I can't even counter. It's a hentai game. Not every character is a virgin damsel in distress. ZR2 likely won't be that way either. *shrugs*
Addressing L-001's threat to NTR your entire household. I want to emphasize that it is yet another THREAT. I do not plan on following through with it and while this seems obvious to myself, I can understand why players may feel uncertain. Don't worry. The main character would risk his life saving them from him. It won't happen.
I wanted L-001 to be a character that players HATED and I almost feel like I did too good of a job at that, haha. That scene felt right but I think some took the threat a little too seriously. Just wanted to clarify.

Last thing. I want to remind players to be respectful to both myself but more importantly to others on here. There were some nasty comments and I flat out deleted those comments and banned those users. I'm not issuing warnings. If you're harassing others, I don't tolerate that. Keep it civil.

Just to add some clarification if anyone comes back to this, what the antagonist threatened the MC with would not categorize as NTR (or betrayal), they would be getting forced against their will to engage in said act, since their feelings clearly lie with the MC. That being said, it would obviously be rape, even if that guy possesses some power to forcibly change their stance. It could also be argued that his threat is partly hollow, in the sense that this change in their feelings would not even occur since his 'lust power' is likely inferior due to the fact that it only ever increases when he sexes up a new woman. Bad guys being what they are would be more focused on their objectives and this would be more of a distraction for them. Evidence of this comes from the scene with Jessie, whom was touched, but then purged completely of the taint/desire, after engaging with him. Personally I found a great way to create drama, as a threat to the harem is the ultimate form in these kinds of games and punishable by some unspoken cycles of tortures death, which the MC would no doubt deliver. It could also lead to some sort of rescue mission either leading into or part of the next game, where its timed and if the MC fails to prepare enough / get there quickly it would lead to a game over. This could be a good way to transition into a new base as well since the old one is extremely vulnerable to non-zombie threats and something like this would clearly expose said weakness. But anyway, thanks all the work you've put into this so far Siren and hope you motivated!

Played both the PC and android version of this and never ran across this problem. I can only assume that though there is a issue with your OS or something along those lines. I would make sure your device is up to date and if that still doesn't fix it, it might be something specific to whatever OS your using in which case a newer device would be necessary. For reference, I am using android 10. The problem though sounds like its making some kind of software call to play the scenes ( on PC this would something like VLC, or Windows media) , I am not familiar with how this works on phones or tablets, and its obviously failing leading to the crash.

Hello good afternoon, thank you very much for the game and I apologize for those people who insult you or criticize your project, well I hope you continue with the game. You see, I have a problem with the game, it installs me and everything, but at the moment of a "happy" scene, the game closes, I played without accessing those scenes and the game is very good. but I got to a point where a happy scene was necessary and well the game closed. I clarify that everything else in the game if it works only the scenes do not load me and it closes. What type of Android device should I use or what requirements should the smartphone have to avoid this problem. I say goodbye, thank you very much for the game and sorry for the inconvenience.
