Date Night (Remastered)
🕑 Added 2025-10-15 00:00:08 +0000 UTCI decided to try something a little different as you can probably tell. I was never entirely satisfied with the original Date Night piece, and as the original won the Explicit Edit Poll for this month, I decided to “remaster” it into my current style. This isn’t a ground up redo like the others I’d normally do, as a proportionally adjusted version of the original piece was used as a template. Personally, I’m really happy with the results from this experiment and feel that the the explicit edit (which posts next Thursday) has greatly benefited from the changes too!
I have also shared some rerenders I’ve done for practice recently as a bonus since this seems an appropriate opportunity to put them out.
Remasters like this aren’t something I plan on doing much in the future, however there are a few pieces I’ve looked at and felt could very much benefit from similar treatment so let me know how you feel about the potential of more remastered posts in the future. It would be very helpful to know how you all feel about them!

The Cynthia one looks better. I wasn’t a big fan of the shadowy blue and I think this version with a warmer shadow makes it better
