Inventory Item Hotkeys

It's time for the next monthly post! Today we'll be taking a look at another upcoming quality-of-life feature for our inventory — the hotkeys.
We strongly recommend reading this post before watching the video, so you can fully understand what's happening.
Hotkeys will allow a player to equip a specific type of item without having to open the inventory. It's a concept we've been considering for way too long, and should have been added to the game a long time ago. That being said, we are glad that we finally got around to adding it. While the exact amount of hotkeys may change, our current plan is to add five. These include, Primary Weapon, Secondary Weapon, Keycard, Medical Item, and Grenade. We've already managed to implement one hotkey, which draws the best keycard from the inventory in a given situation. The video might give you a clearer idea of how this works.
