yeah i recall the DMCA'd mods aswell, though they also did that for your mona mod and didnt roll out any bans; feels like someone possibly just gives them a tip or they notice it via popularity

I've been noticing plenty of mods rolling in the air for hsr, i've heard stories of modders getting dmca'd by hoyo which caused me not to try mod the game... Now that things seem to be as safe as genshin, I might give it a go soon~

thank you for the banger as per usual also offtopic but, i wanted to let you know star rail modding seems to have been getting safer as I personally have been modding on there for around a patch and a half worth of time with no issues and also wasn't banned during the first banwave. i get the feeling what hoyo did was just send a banwave for rerollers and possible other 3rd party things unrelated to 3DM and 3DM might've just coincidentally been part of that mix. Genshin had apparently already been able to detect 3DM as early as 3.6 yet havent banned anybody at all yet and we're at 4.0 now; chances are HSR and Genshin share the same base foundation for their anticheats.
