turns out all my mods were in a onedrive folder which was screwing something up; got absolutely everything fixed

try running the tool/exe where you have all of your mods placed

unfortunately running the latest fix still leaves every single modded character i have looking bugged. has anyone had any luck or am i doing something wrong ??

I saw that on Twitter some days algo, if I recall correctly, Hoyo opened jobs for making a new engine, sorry if it isn't that reliable, but it makes sense

4.1 Put the update file into a launcher mode file and double click to run it Windows Defender will give you a virus warning, but it won't affect your PC as explained in the banana After running the file, hit loader and run the game and it should be fixed.

Do you have the source? I know this could be related to the scum tactic Unity tried to pull. If they do, the tools to import and export the mods would require a rework, but I doubt they would straight up update the current games with a new engine

Honestly, having modded ffxiv, I'm surprised this isn't a more common thing. Every major patch in that is about a 3 day wait time before mods work again.
