A message to those who moan about the Patreon
🕑 Added 2018-11-05 19:51:47 +0000 UTC Maybe this is a bit strong but I feel like I need to be! ^^^So the moaners on the last community post really got to me! A couple of other YouTubers even reached out to me to show their support and express praise that I did not lash out.
Nevertheless I will release this now when I do a patreon thank you on the community tab.
I can't believe I have to do this but I am not going to let people like this ridicule me because people want to support me!

Some people though are simple sad about the fact that they cannot obtain ALL the content, which I can also understand. Most of these kids grew up in a time where actually paying directly for the stuff they watch is unheard of. In the age of Youtube, Spotify and Netflix most of these people feel like something is being taken away from them, if they have to pay for it. So I see both sides of the argument although your position is still totally valid.

That sounds a lot friendlier! I agree with you on many aspect. I believe people should be paid for their work, especially for how much you put into these videos.

This seems like an overly cruel response. Telling people they should get professional help because they criticize your businessmodel seems a bit harsh. I wouldn't make this public, at least with this kind of wording. It could rastle some people the wrong way that didn't actually mean any harm.
