'Why Russian?' - Russian and Chinease are the largest SCP communities outside of the English speaking community however YouTube is blocked in China so that rules them out sadly.

I'm sure that no would complain about more box transitions and at least in theory, this choice is only beneficial to your growth.

I can just simply switch to another text box like I do already. It just means there will likely be more transitions as there is more text.

In terms of what I put in, not a lot. I just need to copy and paste from the Russian Wiki which doesn't take too long. The less space in the text box though will mean more frequent text box transitions. In terms of what the videos get out of it, Non-english speaking Russian viewers can then come and view the videos without having to deal with the crappy YouTube CC stuff. The Wiki team have informed me there is a very large SCP presence in Russian, apparently they hold frequent conventions over there!
Ohhhhhh, yeah I think that would be fine, what would you do if the text fills up the whole of the side though?

There wouldn't be enough room for side by side or underneath one another I am afraid. The way I have displayed it is the only way I can display them while not subtracting from the space to display the drawing. I was more thinking whether its acceptable to the patreons to include Russian subs.
You could try and have them side by side? Underneath each other or one on each side.
