It's for sure jumbled and disorienting... but it a pretty decent way. I always say that I don't like to just be dropped into the middle of things in tv shows, but I think this is a fairly good example of that type of thing in a way that's intriguing rather than just frustrating.

Without spoiling anything, series 6 is definitely one of those that only really makes sense on reflection. I really enjoy it, but mainly on a rewatch.

I love how you thought episode 2 would answer your questions lmao. Moffat has some shortcomings as a showrunner but setting up crazy mysteries is not one of them. What a wild 2-parter to start the season, eh?

Yeah, I was completely confused by this season opener. There's a lot of story telling, but it's very jumbled and disorienting. It will all make sense eventually, I promise. π

Finished the two episodes and I'm as excited about the season as I was in 2011! I love it so much. Eleven, Amy, Rory and River are the absolute pinnacle of Doctor Who to me I love them all so much β€
