Episode XXIII: Won't you be my neighbor?
🕑 Added 2018-07-31 17:14:20 +0000 UTC We've moved to a new part of town. And we're just starting to get to know our new neighborhood.It's pretty different from our old neighborhood. We used to be in the heart of the city, and now we're in the suburbs. My daughter loves the fact that there are kids everywhere and trampolines in every other back yard. I love the quiet and the big garden.
We're starting to get to know our new neighbors, and so far everyone's been really friendly and welcoming. But it is more conservative here.
How will they respond when they learn that the new girl on the block is transgender? We're wrestling with that in the latest episode.

Gosh, what a listen! I have to say, your podcast is one of a very select that listen to at 1x speed. I normally listen at 1.25 or better... The tone is just right. We are rasing our child in a odd neighboorhood, not a lot of kids sadly, though I think we have a lot of the same hessitations when interacting with our niegboors.
