Trans kids around the world
🕑 Added 2021-05-10 16:53:32 +0000 UTCDear friends,
In my last post, I shared the first part of the documentary I helped produce for the BBC World Service.
Part 2 is now available here. I'm particularly excited about Part 2, because it shares stories of the children I've been thinking about (and wondering about and worrying about) for years: Transgender children in other countries around the globe.
Over the past couple of months, I've had the rare privilege of hearing the stories of parents who are raising children like mine in other countries, from Italy to India to Japan to South Africa. In hours-long joyful, tearful conversations, they shared their hearts with me - and with the world. I hope you will listen. I know you will love them.
Much love and gratitude,
Marlo

Wow I loved hearing about this from other people in other cultures. I don't feel like it's something that's done very often.

Just finished listening to them both. Thank you so much for this. I also shared them with a "parents and trans kids" support group I'm with in the US Midwest.

I'm listening now, Marlo, this is wonderful. I've just shared it with all my work colleagues. I've long lost count of the times I've recommended your podcast to people. Your work and the generosity of you and M are so important.
