Tinkerbell edit Nov 2019 : complete photoshoot + more pictures
🕑 Added 2018-06-20 19:18:25 +0000 UTC I started this costume 3 years ago. Just before getting too sick and keeped working on it slowly when my body would allow it. Sometimes I though I wouldn't not recover enough to wear it.I had it hanging on my door in my room and often looked at it imagining the day I would wear it. I have a story with Tinkerbell. When I was working as a character at Disneyland Paris , I was dying to get a fitting to be a Tink and Alice face character. But they never allowed me to even try. I have been told I was ugly , too small, or that I didn't even look like Tinkerbell. Which I knew wasn't true. Especially in the last movies I recognize myself so much in her. And I found this artwork from @Doodlelust ( on insta). I fell in love with it straight away as I was looking for new Tinkerbell cosplay ideas. And here it is. 3 years later. Finally. ^^Well Im not wearing it for a convention but I hope I'll.I'm tired and I feel like I'm going to cry because of the exhaustion but I'm happy ! I was able to do 2 photoshoots in a week. I hurt everywhere because of fibromyalgia but my levels of energy are completely different from just 3 months ago. I didn't even get a single panic attack !I still have a lot of issues but if it doesn't stop me from doing what I love the most then I'm fine with it :) .Next step : going to see my dad which means traveling by myself which I haven't done for 2 years and then going back to conventions: A full day of convention wearing a light cosplay. I'll probably try around September if my health keeps improving at this current rate :) I'll probably need a few days of proper rest to recover from these intense past 5 days ( for an chronic ill person) and then I'll try being more productive ( If everything keeps going the good way) I'll let you know. :)Thank you so much for following me and supporting me here and on Insta/ Facebook.I'm here today because of you ! Someone thinking you are ugly is beyond belief! You are beautiful, inside and out, don't let anyone lead you to think otherwise. WHEN you attend your convention, let us know, I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to be there for you.
Hope is a powerful thing. There is some reason to believe that LDN may actually help with the fibromayalgia too. I haven't looked into this myself (though it makes some sense) but if you believe Immune Therapeutics, Inc. (who are, of course, trying to sell it) then it has promise. If not, maybe acupuncture would help when you're strong enough for it.
