Romania Family trip continues

Here, after 2 days of intense pain and dizziness, heat and especially the combination with humidity settled down a bit and I could feel better. Meaning pain is still here all the time and so are the vertigos and fatigue but it's manageable when you are used to it ^^
The visit we had planned on Monday was delayed until today ,and yesterday we could visit an old but still running sewing thread factory. Unfortunately I couldn't see the machines working or the coloring process either because everything was stopped for the annual holidays .
It was very interesting and not too far from home. I really think this place could make a cool background for a photoshoot. I'm thinking of Suicide squad Harley's Quinn for example ^^,,,
After this place, we also went to Ocna's saline and mud baths. They are reputed for their anti inflammatory action on pain and chronic illness so I absolutely wanted to have a try. It was also very close to the place my dad lives.
But let the pictures talk :)

Piles of raw cotton everywhere. It was very smelly and I was happy I had taken antihistamines before going o_o. It didn't stop me from having a bad sore throat for the next 2 days though.

I also found something quite extraordinary:
Indeed the person owning the factory told me he had an abandoned stock of leather in one of his locals. The company people who rented it disappeared without paying the rent and left everything behind them.
The guy said I could take everything for free if I wanted, and I was like : !!o_o !!
So now I need to find a way to get a part of the stock back to France and see how many friends are interested to share the shipping costs with me to get some because I can't let this stock to rot , poor animals would be dead for nothing >< and if it can be used for costumes or RP so it's better than anything else.
There was more than showing on the picture and there was also an enormous bag of leather stripes and belts. I forgot to take some for me ( I need black leather stripes to make Harley's holster)
I'll also make another post with the Ocna's baths summary:) tomorrow.
And then another post with the pics of the place we finally could go today : a salt mine used as a touristic and therapeutic place.

I believe the donkeys were mute in fact. Because they didn't make any sound XD
I didn't catch any sunburn ^^.. We went on the morning especially to avoid the sun and heat and the mud also kept me from it. ^^ thank you for your concern :3 you can still have sympathy for me then ^^,,,
Also, our skin can absorb trace minerals directly that sometimes our digestive system has a lot of trouble absorbing. I have a LOT of trouble absorbing magnesium orally (but no trouble with soaking in it), just for one example.
There is actually some interesting science supporting the benefit of mud baths and even healing crystals for that matter...but unless you want a long diatribe on quantum harmonics and quantum mechanics I'll just stop now... :-) Glad you're feeling better. The cycle of push yourself, get worse for a time may continue for a bit but hopefully it'll acclimate your body to being more active over time.
Ps Are the donkeys bi-lingual? Romanian and French, or are they French ex-pats? He-Haw!
I hope you bathed in suncream before that last shot!! If you post tomorrow that your suffering from sunburn, I'll have no sympathy for you! Actually, I would, but you really must look after the treasure that is you.
