Somehow I'm thinking the doll may have an important role to play in the story, and the reasons Emma's major health issues mysteriously vanished... What if there's a Genie in this story... and that doll is their magic lamp.. but instead of rubbing it you.... AHA!!! Maybe lol speculating at this point.
