I once stole one of my mother's broaches, a hideous gold teddy bear thing, and folded it into a note asking my 2nd grade chrush out. I asked to go to the bathroom and when I returned, I ended up panicking and threw the note very, very hard at her. Luckily I've always been a fairly shit athlete, so I missed her completely. It bounced off the front of her desk with a loud CLANK! That got everyone's attention and everyone got to read it and know exactly why she said "Ew, No!". I didn't try again until freshmen year, but I was a much smoother man.
