Technically speaking, yes. There's no requirement spelled out in the constitution or other law that says that the Speaker of the House must be a sitting member of the House of Representatives. This has given rise to a weird idea that could put him back in office. If the GOP was able to get him into the Speaker position, that puts him 3rd in line to the "throne" (aka the presidency). If you impeach and convict Biden, that puts Harris, the VP, into the Presidency. If you then impeach and convict Harris before a VP is confirmed, the Speaker of the House becomes the president. (There's an interesting story arc in season 4 of the West Wing in which the Speaker becomes President, temporarily, after the VP has resigned and not yet been replaced, and president Bartlett invokes the 25th Amendment which allows the President to voluntarily transfer power if he feels he is unfit to perform the duties of the president until he declares in writing that he is once again able to return to office). This is the only legal method I am aware of that could put Trump back in the White House before the next election, and would require not only a majority of members of the House of Representatives (possible, but I believe unlikely) AND 2/3 of the members of the Senate, which is realistically not going to happen. But yes, Trump COULD be installed as the Speaker of the House... in theory. So could you (assuming you're a US citizen... but I'm not even certain that citizenship is required, the rules are pretty vague as I understand them) or me, or just about anyone.

The idea at the end regarding messages from people after they are gone reminded me of a funny story. Back at the very beginnings of personal computing, a couple of my dad’s friends placed a full page ad in the April issue of one of the computing magazines of the time (probably creative computing or Byte). The ad was for “creative tombstones”. It was an April fools joke like most of the other content that month. They got tons of calls from people wanting to buy this contraption which was absurdly priced at the time (in the 1970s) for around $20,000. I’ll see if I can find a link to the ad somewhere. It was quite amusing (and would be totally trivial to make today!
