Plans for Hero Corruption v1.15
🕑 Added 2022-02-13 18:35:42 +0000 UTCHi everyone, now that I've collected enough feedback from 1.10 and 1.05, I'll start working on v1.15.
This next update will be focused on the development of the Grove, the new area needs a few more enemies and events.
Currently I have the feeling that the Grove is a little bit harder than the Forest, I hope to achieve some balance with the addition of new enemies, but if that does not happen, I'll tweak a couple of numbers to reduce its difficulty.
About suggestions, I can't promise which ones will be added in this next update, but I'll do my best to add some quality of life changes and actual content.

Your Game is marvellous, i really enjoy them already and the updates you provide for them, make them even better every Time ! The only thing i'd wish for would be some more big ass content like Jada Stevens or even better : Anikka Albrite. Keep up the nice work lad and thank you !

Maybe I just got lucky, but the Grove felt like it gave more money early game since there's a purple drop girl that you encounter more often (since there's only 4 girls compared to 5). This probably wasn't intentional or permanent, but the idea of a higher risk, higher reward early area is interesting to me. Taking all that big breast addiction for a chance of 40 gold in the early runs was 100% worth it.

The grove being a little harder than the forest could be fine, if there was a slight tweak to Gold/EXP rates. If the grove gave say 5 xp per instead of 4, and like 7 gold instead of 5 as the minimum. Then it would balance the risk of starting in a slightly higher area, as you'd get resources a little quicker. Especially good, for early replays once you have leveled a stat or two so the grove is more manageable, would also make the replay a little faster to get to end-game

The Grove is really good fun and I like the danger it presents but it probably is a little tricky in its current state for one of the opening stages. I've always started at the Forest as it's easier to build momentum there but if I was to start at the Grove I'd probably be thinking how quickly can I avoid it! I.e getting money from the Tavern in the city, buying a Deep Forest map and then conservatively taking a one enemy a day approach for the first round of 15 days. The difficulty does make it intriguing in a way because it makes you very wary. A run can be ruined in one battle like some of the older versions.
