Hero Corruption v1.25 Release Date

Stamina is now fully implemented in the Forest and the Grove, with that, I had the opportunity to rework the battle system. Not to spoil too much, but the damage formula has changed and the Hero has a new move.
The "problem" of mindlessly clicking the attack button has been solved, you can still do that, and your character's DPS will be about the same, but those who plan ahead will be rewarded with higher numbers
In addition, new moves have also been added for a couple of enemies, their codex page have been updated accordingly.
In these coming days, I intend to add more stuff to complement the patch. What I really would like to do is work on new souls, equipments, debuffs and perks to complement Stamina, but I'll wait for your feedback before doing that.
Some readjustments to the enemy values affected by this mechanic will probably be required, so the last week has been reserved for balancement and bug fixes.
With all that said, you can expect the next release on May 6th (Friday this time ^^)

The battle system rework is directly tied in with the stamina mechanic, it is an extremely important factor in the new damage formula and the addition of new moves, because of that, it will only be present in the initial two areas for now

To increase immersion I look for pictures where the male figure is not that visible, that's why most of the photos are in POV style. Showing a lot of the man's body or being able to see his head/face is a huge no-no (Laura may be the only exception for this rule, but she's already an iconic character so I prefer to leave her as it is) Unfortunately it's pretty hard to find photos on these sites that fit this description, but if you have any specific albums, drop me a DM and I'll definitely take a look

The main reason why I'm migrating from Milovana is the space limit, there will come a time when the webtease format will no longer support updates. I'm fine with the current media support actually, .jpeg is a lightweight file and can be easily edited. I really don't see a reason to add .gif and .mp4 files. I wouldn't even know where they could be used really. Ren'py is simple and comprehensive, so I should catch up with the current version of Hero Corruption in a relatively short amount of time and continue with the same frequency of new content after that

That is great news, I can't wait to try out the new features! Will the alterations to the battle system be implemented in the whole game, or will it - like Stamina - only be in the Forest and the Grove?

Why not using pics from site like evolvedfights or dirtywrestlingpit etc to illustrate fights?

Happy to see you planning to move beyond the limitations of the webtease platform for 2.0, but Surprised to see Renpy as the engine choice instead of something with better media support.
