With how late you went to bed, it was a miracle that you were up and about with only a few hours of sleep. If this was the effect that sleeping with Guk in his new apartment felt like, you’d pack a bag and move there indefinitely.
By the time you and Jeongguk made it back to your own house to shower and get ready, Namjoon had already left for work. Jeongguk packed a few more of his things to slowly start making his official move and took them back to his new apartment before going to Bangtan Ink himself, while you ran errands of your own.
And by that, you meant going back to Itaewon to pick up your car from where it stayed overnight at the parking building next to the Circle.
You made plans to meet up with Jeongguk again at Moonlight, the pretty coffee shop just across the street from the tattoo studio. That’s where you planned on telling your brother about the two of you.
The place had a sentimental value to him and to everyone from Bangtan, it felt like a second home at this point. You hoped it would be enough for your brother to feel at ease and comfortable, once you invited him over to have The Talk.

You lifted your head to look at the entrance of the coffee shop, watching as Jeongguk walked in and scanned the room to look for you. You lifted your hand to wave and help him locate you easily. You had picked a table at the end of the coffee shop, just to give all of you more privacy.
“Hi, dove.” Jeongguk greeted you with a kiss on the top of your head before sitting down in front of you. “Did you get your car?”
“I did.” you smiled, but Guk could see your nerves plastered across your face. “How is he today?”

“Oppa, we can explain–” your voice told Namjoon where you were and you could only describe it as the blast off of a bull when he noticed.
“Stay the fuck out of this Yn.” Namjoon roared, walking around you faster than you could stop him. “What the fuck have you been doing to my sister, bro?!”
Jeongguk was jumping to his feet, guessing that your brother already knew. That put him in high alert, especially with the way Namjoon was charging for him. But Jeongguk didn’t run, even if you wished that he would.
Yoongi and Hoseok were rushing into the coffee shop with a small delay, followed by a worried Tehyung and a confused Seokjin. The sound of chairs and tables being dragged against the floor made you shudder as you were stuck in place, not sure if reaching your brother would calm him down or make it worse.
“Hyung, I know it sounds bad but we–” Jeongguk tried to reason, but Namjoon was blinded by rage.
“Oh no, you don’t fucking get to call me ‘hyung’.” your brother yelled and at this point everyone in the coffee shop had stopped to watch.
“Namjoon, will you listen to us?!” you shouted back, but it fell on deaf ears.
You gasped as you watched your brother raise his arm to throw a punch in Jeongguk’s direction, but the man ducked in time and stepped back. Fear was flashing across Jeongguk’s face, but you knew it wasn’t the fear of getting hit, but of losing his friend.
“Joon, stop!” you cried, running to put yourself between your brother and Jeongguk before he could swing again.
“I gave you everything! I gave you a home!” Namjoon was yelling at Jeongguk, getting held back by both Yoongi and Hoseok, who were trying to drag him away to put more distance between all of you. “I helped you with your music! And this is how you repay me, huh? You disrespect me like this?”
“I'm not disrespecting you–” Jeongguk tried again, gently holding your shoulders to move you behind him in hopes of keeping you out of harm's way.

It’s not that you didn’t know. You couldn’t even explain why it shocked you to hear it like that. Maybe this whole situation was just keeping you on edge. It was definitely the first time Seokjin, Hoseok and Yoongi were learning about that, all of them faltering and staring at you and Jeongguk.
“You don’t get to be in love with her. You don’t get to touch her, you don’t get to see her!” Namjoon tried to push past his holders again, but when he couldn’t, he pushed back and turned his back on all of you.
“Dude, let’s chill for a second, alright?” Hoseok attempted. “Let them talk–”
“I want you out.” Namjoon was turning around to face you again, pointing a finger at Jeongguk. “I want you the fuck out of my house.”
“He’s not leaving, not like this.” you defended, as if Namjoon was telling Guk to get out of your life, not out of the home he didn’t need anymore; not after renting his own place.
“You don’t get a say in this, you’ve done enough.” your brother turned to you, disappointment obvious in his eyes.
It hurt because that’s he how he looked at you when Hyejin died. That’s how he looked at you when he saw her in you.
“What have I done, huh?!” you pushed back and past Jeongguk, who tried to reach for you to stop you. “It’s not my fault you would prefer it was me who died, not her!”
“Shut up!” Namjoon yelled, tone hard and hurt. But you were hurting too. “You don’t know what you’re talking about!”
“Of course I don’t, I never know anything, I never do anything right!” you yelled out, not caring about who could hear you. You stopped crying an hour ago, sure you had no more tears left in you.
You still felt like a shell of yourself, trying to wrap your mind around what the fuck just happened. You shouldn’t even be this surprised, really, when you knew how your brother would react if he caught you, if he found out you were hiding this behind his back.
But you weren’t caught, not really. Not when fucking Jennie had been the one to come back to the tattoo shop to tell on you. You knew it was your fault, too, as you remembered mentioning to Lisa and Cheyoung how Guk wasn’t even your boyfriend yet, because your brother didn’t know.

And you had every intention of dealing with her sooner than later, you would find out what exactly she told Namjoon and you would deal with her ass accordingly.
