So! Right now, starting lewd events in free-play is uninspired and boring, so I wanted to make something more interactive. The idea is that once you unlock lewd with a character, an option is unlocked, to have them follow you, which I showed in a previous devlog (Chase edition).
While a character is following you, you can talk to them and then start the lewd from there, in the location you are in. So then you can select from unlocked sexual positions, and place the characters in determined spots. A quick sketch in Paint to show what I'm talking about.
This has the great benefit of doing it whenever you want + being able to do a shit ton more sexual positions without being restricted to the story. So more sexual positions will be unlocked as you play.
From here, sex will be able to be replayed (maybe climaxing 3 times or something like that before time advancing). Some nice ideas that Bazel and Edixos provided is to have the room messier as you have more sex, so that's in my mind as well!

Ah I see what you mean! The pro of taking the characters directly to the spot in an scenario is that it feels more grounded and real, but if you wanted to change spots (from one corner of the room to the other) once you started having sex, would the player need to stop sex, return to follow and then start again in the different spot? I like the idea, I feels a bit more interesting that you can see the spots instead of choosing from a couple buttons. So for the activities, right now you can do them from anywhere (unless the character is bathing, sleeping or in the bathroom). Expanding their schedules wouldn't be a problem (some characters have a free slot so they can do other tasks from a list), but maybe guiding them specifically instead of teleporting would be a bit tiresome? What do you think? Love to read feedback, I appreciate it!
Really love this idea have you considered doing this with physical points on the map? I.E. you take the girls hand, lead them to the room, there are heart markers hovering over the locations where you can have sex, you go to that location and pick which option you want from the list it just seems more intuitive to use the follow system to take them directly to where you want to have sex Also have you considered using this system for non-sexual activities? I think that might be good both because it would get the player use to the system earlier but also because it could allow characters to have a wider range of places they can be. I.E. Chiharu doesn't need to spend every night studying in her room because if she's in the kitchen having a late night snack and I want to study with her I can just find her, lead her back to her room and study with her.
