Thanks for the quick video; looks like you're getting a lot done. You've got less than a week to go, so worry about building and not the videos. Those can come later. And I think we'd all love to see this thing on the salt.

That’s what I was thinking. Back in my younger days when I ran mini sprints on dirt we would go through a drive chain quite frequently. Someone let us use an Oring chain after our standard chain broke in a heat race. That one chain lasted 8 races. I was amazed. Good luck and be safe!

Non o ring for less friction and higher strength. I’ll replace it as needed. If it becomes a problem, I’ll swap it with an o ring chain.

Are you using a roller chain with O rings to keep the sand out or is that just a cheap commodity that can be easily replaced when the need arises? Awesome progress so far!
