New Avatar Content Idea
🕑 Added 2025-08-12 12:01:11 +0000 UTCWith nearly all avatars having their alt. version set, I've been working with TaiOni to find a new type of content they can work on once the game won't be needing as many alt. versions, and would like to hear what you all think of what we ended up with, and if it's something you would like to see in the game.
So the idea is to add a new cosmetic item that can be used freely with any avatars (kinda like backgrounds) and is unlocked using the ticket system. The idea is to have them feature companions or themed items, that you can use together with your avatars. Content displayed at the top would be behind the avatars, while the ones at the bottom will be in front.
I've added several ideas of what these can look like to this post, and would love to hear what you think of them, and any suggestions/feedback you might have to them and the concept in general.

That's definitely something I can add, we actually played around with a Cat Kuriko layout that didn't work out, but I can see adding her and other animals (and cats) in the same way as the foxes or capybara =)

I really like the idea of being able to unlock "pets" for your avatars! I would love to see some cats.

Hm, was originally not planning on making them mixable. But after seeing how the first batch turned out, I'm thinking of making it possible to mix them, as they would be split into two parts anyway (top behind avatar, bottom in-front).

This is a cute idea!! Would we be able to have a top half and bottom half item at the same time? Or are some of them just full and some halves? It would be fun to mix and match parts together for each avatar π€© Also - seconding stars and sparkles as items. Iβm not sure about frames/filters because frames would make some backgrounds pointless, as they are already frames, and filters makes it so the color youβre using matters less and might make some skins hard to decipher visually due to βvalueβ of colors

Filters will probably be more tricky, as having some avatars displayed with filters (like greyscale) while others aren't might make them clash with each others >.< Stuff like hearts, starts, sparkles and text might be more do-able, through we have to find a way to make sure that they don't clash with some avatars

Yea, it can be tricky to design large ones as they would clash with some avatars π But we'll try our best =)

I love this idea, and I think borders/filters (ex: color filter like greyscale/sepia, photobooth-type effects like hearts/stars/sparkles/text, traditional media effects like film grain/vignetting) could be additional avenues to consider!

I think the bigger the better, but depending of the avatar it can be too big. Would be great to have some small one, and some big one.
