No Chapter Today and Possibly not for the rest of the week

Over the weekend an infection in the lungs got the better of him (he had been in the hospital for a week at that point, but that wasn't too alarming as his spent a couple of months in hospital over the last 2 years. A+ for free healthcare in Australia.) Yesterday evening he went critical and is currently unresponsive. He's still alive as of now but the situation is pretty grim.
I'm not sure how my emotional state will play out over the next few days but currently I'm not able to do any writing.

I opened the comments thinking on how to phrase my wishes to you. It was something between best wishes and take the time you need. And I love all the other subscribers for sharing that exact same sentiment. It sucks. It will impact you. And it is ok that you are human. There will even be brief positive moments and you might feel guilty for some brief happyness. Do not feel guilty. Feel what you feel when you feel it. Give yourself space and time. I love you for communicating with us and not leaving us to wonder what's up. Nobody expects chapters from you. Let writing be something that gives you a break from grieving and worrying. And not a chore that you hate but force yourself to do so we are satisfied. We are grateful for communication. And ask and want for nothing more. ❤️🫂
