Apocalypse Chronicles #2

Here's Chapter 2 of the bonus visual story - Jessica O'Neil's Apocalypse Chronicles. Just like the previous, it's a short scene, without much buildup and fluff. The package includes the first episode as well, we have made some slight changes to it and added a little lore at the beginning. We'll reveal more about the world and the characters in it as we move on with the episodes.
I've changed the way I use the sounds in the story. Now you can adjust them to your liking from the sliders in the Preferences menu:
- Music Volume - controls the background music
- Sound Volume - is for the sound effects (gunshots, doors, cars, etc...)
- Voices Volume - changes the volume of the sex sounds (moans, kisses, etc...)
If you don't want to hear one of these, just turn the slider to 0 and you're set.
The Bonus Camera option is present as well, but there are no alternative shots for now.
In the future I'll make a chapter select screen, so you can jump directly to the chapters you want to see, without having to make save files.

If you have an Android tablet, there is a version for that. If you have an Apple device, then no. Oh, sorry, the Android link was not in the post. I added it now.

On Android there should be a Hide button at the bottom of the text box. Isn't there? And I noticed I haven't even made an Android version for Chapter 2, I make one today.

Also - is there any way to minimize text boxes? Most games I've played either have a "hide" button which makes the text go away so you can the the images better or whenever there is a nice image or action in game the box disappears so you can actually see it. There are a LOT of great scenes and actions which a good bit is covered by the text box.

Not being a dick - I love your game but this was something different. How much progress in main story for this to advance do you think? Great work - love the game so please don't take this as me being any type of way

It's not abandoned, but it's on hold for now. I need to make some progress with the game, and then I'll continue making it.

where is part 3 -4 -5 -? did you abandon this as its been a year now? Episode 1 was amazing until it ended in disappointment then part 2 may just as well have been part of the main game/story... Id love to see this advance

The disappointment was from a mixture of things, the vast majority of the disappointment had to do with the length of it, had it been longer and more immersive, I would have been a lot less disappointed. Some of it is that I have been searching for a good zombie survival Visual Novel for a long while now. One that has an immersive story line with solid choices that effect the stories outcome, I have yet to find one. I admit that I failed to see that it was marked as a kinetic novel not a visual novel.

No idea what that VNDB place claimed, but the Apocalypse Chronicles is just a little bonus content for the people who support the development of my VN - Jessica O'Neil's Hard News. As you can see, there's not even a mention of it on the Overview page. That said, I'm sorry to hear you didn't like it. I can refund you your 10 bucks, if you want?

I found this on the VNDB site. It claims that I have to pay for Jessica O'Neil's Apocalypse Chronicles Chapters 1&2. The link brought me here. Honestly and truthfully I am disappointed in the content that I had to pay $10 for, I actually thought it was going to be at least entertaining and have some actual content for that price.

Can't wait for that. In my opinion, it's a really promising and great game so far. I would appreciate it, if you would care a bit less about side projects and concentrate more on the main thing, as it's really good and should not be developed too slowely ;)

I'm trying to have detailed scenes, but at the same time not to loose too much time on the Apocalypse, since Hard News is the main project.

I really like the idea of a new parallel chapter, but perhaps some more artwork would not have failed.
