POLL π NOVEMBER RELEASE
🕑 Added 2023-11-02 17:00:07 +0000 UTCHi everyone, here's the poll for the November Release. Keep in mind that it's supposed to come out at the end of November.
(Click on the links below before voting to see some visual representations of what each unit could be. Keep in mind that these are just quick edits to give you a rough idea, they won't exactly represent the final models.)
This month I'm bringing back some options from the last poll with updated images, while adding the Polish crusading knights and infantrymen.
So the options are:
- 13th century Polish crusading knights + Polish infantrymen : The initial participants in the 13th-century Prussian Crusades were not the Teutonic Knights but were in fact Polish knights in the service of Duke Conrad of Masovia. These crusaders represent a more conventional type of western knights, who joined the Prussian campaign without being affiliated with a formal military order. They are depicted wearing sleeveless surcoats (I'm thinking about making some without surcoats as well) and flat-top greathelms, and are armed with lances and shields.
- 13th century Early Lithuanian bajorai + Lithuanian axemen : Although not the primary target of the Prussian Crusades, Lithuanian tribes frequently engaged in conflict with the crusaders during the 13th century, with the Battle of Saule in 1236 being a prominent example. The early bajorai, representing Lithuanian nobility, are equipped with the finest armor and weaponry.
- 13th century Prussian cavalry + Prussian archers : These are the Prussian warriors who defended their homeland against the crusaders. Skilled in guerrilla warfare and light cavalry combat, their equipment exhibits some slight Eastern influences, a result of the enduring influence of the nomadic horse-based cultures from the steppes, that had been present in the Baltic region since as early as the 6th century.

There are still many teutonic gaps.....like a command etc....
Looks like you're not the only one! But I want to do them all as well so I'll get to them at some point

This was really a hard choice, all factions sounds really interesting, but as I'm trying to build up my more generic western European medieval forces I also had to go for the Polish.
