Development Blog #18

I sat down to write some outlines of the remaining images for Amanda, and came up with about 50 more images. This will bring the last part of the update to around 120, not counting the animation frames. And I'm not making it by January 15th, like I planed to.
Not sure when I'll be ready. 5 days? 10 days? Something in that range.
It's becoming a pretty hot event though. Bare with me a little more.
Thanks for the support and the patience.

A few more days. This last event will basically have more images than the rest of Day 5, and the script is actually bigger than the first part. I'll make a post with more details when I wake up in about 8 hours.

Understandable, given the level of detail in your frames, and the corresponding throughput issues due to such detail. I like that you give notices of delay and rough time-frames for completion for a full update. One thing I do want to encourage is your commitment to releasing SOMETHING on the 27th of every other month, even if it's an incomplete BETA. This way, it doesn't denigrate the support-to-reward ratio that your most ardent fans have committed themselves to, seeing how most of them commit to paying two months for every one release. Too many other creators have lost support really fast by just over-promising and then wading into the next month's pledge cycle. I, for one, am really thankful that you give love back to your fans by appreciating the wait we've put in by sticking to your 27th deadlines! :-)
