You shouldn't stop. If you have something to say I want to hear it, whether it's a positive or negative. And the scenes are not written. I build them as I work on them. I have a rough framework in place, but I make the small details as I work on each scene. It may not be the best way to work on a story, but it's how I do it. As you see I'm constantly here answering to people's questions. I don't know where you see this silence.

You don't need to apologize, rather you should bash that pixelflynt guy for calling you nonsense like grifter and freeloader when you are clearly a supporter that supports the development. Oversmart people like him are unable to understand how there are quite alot of people here who don't speak english as the first language due to which a message can sound far more rude than intended due to the frustration of supporting something for so long with no results.

Ok. I am going to stop with my remarks on this forum. It is clearly that I disturbed. PixelFlynt the freedom of expression is for anybody. I consider JOHN one of the best 2 games out there. I paid my fees to Stoper so I do not ask art for free. I was just thinking that the scenario is already written and this creativity blocks should not appear at this stage of the game. Anyway you and Stoper got it all wrong … I was just saying that a clear game schedule should be available and somehow respect it … this silence is not good for anybody

He's frustrated by the slow development. I understand him, I'm frustrated too. And because he doesn't know how much efforts it takes to make the game, he thinks I'm just slacking off. But there's nothing I can say that would change his mind, he'll just think I'm lying.

The pleasure is in the journey itself! I don't care how much time is between the updates. I like Stoper work, JOHN is the best game! And yes, I am impatient too, because update is coming, but it is what it is.

You come on this page and compare stoper to another creator whose time between updates is just as long if not longer, then make demands that you get something for nothing. That doesn't work anywhere in the world. Tell him to work for passion. Screw you. You have no clue how much work goes into art. Especially art that is as involved as a Renpy project. maybe it would be better to make more of a plan and try to stick to it? this is really becoming a bigger and bigger problem and at some point ppl are gonna loose the little patience they have left. just trying to help m8, i really want you to succeed with this game, but you are loosing trust from your supporters every update now and you gotta take action before its too late. i really do belive you cant continue like this.

The slow update cycle was due to a creative block I had for a couple of months, not because I was working on a big update or something.

Work's been going pretty well this month. I'm making more images than I have planned, but that's become the norm for me, but I'm trying my best to finish it this month, even if it's in a BETA state.

I agree, that they're the best games out there in this genre. I've testet other games out there as well, but noone so far comes really close to AWAM and JOHN. But, now I'm also excited about what Dashole can come up with in his game. He has some sort of cooperation with StoperArt that can really be beneficial for his own game development. In my opinion spledid pictures isn't enough if the story is bad and has too little depths. I like games with different choices too that can lead you in different directions. AWAM and JOHN has everything that I search for in such a game.

No, she'll be just a side character. At one point I was considering adding other POVs, but the porgress of the story is already disastrously slow, adding more side content will be bad.

Yes, Gabriela. She's a model I made for a few book covers, but I'm using her for other content as well. And she'll likely show up in the game as well.

When the line is a thought from Jessica the text uses an italic font. Or you're saying that it is not enough, and you prefer to have a different color as well?
