I changed a bit the workflow on this last stretch. I've been working on the writing and the postwork in the last couple of weeks. It went a little slower than I would have wanted, but I'm happy with the spicy end result. Most scenes I make are starting to have at least two distinguished variations, and that essentially doubles the work amount for each event. But I do like this option to build the Jessica you want (with some limitations, of course). The images and my side of the writing for all scenes, except the last one, are ready. Amanda will be finishing and polishing the script while I do the final renders.
I will not be making the change in variables that I planed, so you won't have to start from the beginning. I'll leave that for the next update, because I want to make some changes in the previous content, mostly writing, but some small changes on the images as well. And that would take a little extra time that I don't have now, seeing how far back the previous update was. The good news is that the two rig setup is starting to work well. So when the creative juices are flowing I'm able to move at a good pace with the renders. We'll see how much of a positive impact that will have in the next months.

No, I'm happy with all scenes. The only thing I'm planing to change is add a bit of time jumps between some point. Just to spread the events a bit further. But when I start going through the content, something small may pop out.

Good to have an excuse to go through it all over again. I wonder, is there anything you look back on and wish you had done differently? Any scenes you're not happy with or don't feel it fits with the narrative?

Yes. I'll make some changes to the variables, and you'll have to start a new game to have everything in order. Fast skipping makes starting a new game a pretty quick affair.

JOHN is really really good, however the cost of living crisis and lack of real progress other than 1 or 2 NICE pics meant it had to go, the shameful response was a surprise and as mentioned it shows what the developer actually thinks, we need to see more progress than just 1 or 2 pics every month.

Believe me I read some forums where people are very angry on the fact that some developers are delaying on purpose this visual novels. The problem is that a VN like JOHN or AWAM is generating so much emotion that brings in a lot of hate which I do not understand. People are thinking to take extreme actions like hacking etc which for me is way too far. StoperArt is fair and assumed but even his approach is considered provoking by some low IQ out there like you said … at some moment you have to think it is better to stop or sell a VN as a developer instead of taking a risk to lose everything … legal actions against hackers resident in some conutries are almost impossible to bring a result …. Dark web is full of sharks

do not take it as a threat from my side but an advice … it is full out there of bad intentioned skilled people and I thought it is useful that I inform stoperArt to be aware of this danger and not lose important game data which we are waiting since one year … also I offered him a pretty good excuse for delay the update 1 more year
