Found out it's a matter of certain cards and banks not having 3DSecure security for purchase authorization. I don't remember seeing PayPal as an option but maybe I overlooked it.

It seems like this issue has been due the fact that some people were using AI art to filter CP stuff and then sell it on fanbox. Id advice to take it slow and see how it develops in the incoming days as it doesnt seem to affect ilustrations in the policy description. Please be patiente.

Well I don’t know as I haven’t used ci-en before (but do have an account as I use dlsite) so I can’t confirm anything about that. Since I used a credit/debit card to buy things on dlsite from the usa, I assume it’ll work the same on ci-en. You can ask some people around for info if you want!😊

Hmm…there is a place I know that accepts lolis and that is Ci-en by Dlsite. Just like fanbox, you can post content on there for a price and knowing dlsite as the juggernaut of selling doujin content, you might be able to use that place as a last resort.

Try Librepay maybe. You can still do commissions on pixiv, though you have to private loli ones. Also 'non-consentual' counts too, so pretty much you're locked to do vanilla forever.

So far some people have commented because its the Japanese language, they haven't outright stated fictional content, so it can be taken super vague. So on one hand, they are talking literally as in real life content, as drawn/fiction isn't mentioned and just reaffirming no real content is allowed/AI art that's doing deepfakes or w/e. Or the other, its a blanket ban on all that content. But then considering the userbase, that's going to effect the majority of artists on this website, ESPECIALLY many if not most the JP artists. I'm hoping they are targeting the rumored 'real' pictures mixed in with AI content that have been sold through fanbox and the like.

From my understanding Fantia is inconsistent with foreign payment options. I'd been told that unless you're from an Asian territory they can reject payments unless it's an international credit card.

But how are you paying? I'd heard you have to go through a lot of hoops(international credit card) to actually pay for subscriptions.
