I have a friend who turned down a job and ended up finding out it was a third part thing for her brand or channel or something. Some podcast collaboration at a venue she works for often. (friend does sound freelance) turns out the people who did take the gig said she and everyone around her 200% believe everything they’re saying but find a way to some how make their own behaviors not hypocritical. You have to really suck for people to come to these conclusions working with you one time for 10 hours good GAWD.

I have family that refuse medicine, say that drs, hospitals, and pharma are all colluding to keep people sick and were all in on the Qanon crap. Well she is in her 70s and fell and broke her hip. Guess what? She was perfectly happy going to the hospital, have surgery, take all the drugs, and do physical therapy. It’s amazing how that works…

I wish antivaxxers turned to science when they have cancer, etc but I spent weeks taking care of a person who tried to treat their very curable cancer “holistically” until they died and it was horrific for all involved. I heard a theory once that fossils have been discovered throughout history and that’s where the myth of dragons came from. Dragons were never real, but many cultures across the globe somehow agreed on the common features of what we think of as dragons. I’m not a scientist though so I can’t support or confirm that theory

It’s already been pointed out, but Locusts and cicadas are not the same but for some reason in Texas people call cicadas, locusts, and I’m not quite sure why. I grew up thinking that too.
