Patreon Q&A
🕑 Added 2024-12-28 22:06:39 +0000 UTCHey folks! As alluded to in a video, I'm going to do a little Q&A/state of the channel address before the new year. This will be available to ALL patreon tiers. A bonus video reading/discussing Tolkien's Noel poem will be available for the Brandybucks and Bagginses on the 31st as well.
If you have any questions about the channel, books, movies, TV or anything else feel free to drop them in the comments of this post or anonymously through this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfCCe5FyK079BOS39ELZrVh2fY2aXJrPBF2-WeB_SxVhjnwhA/viewform?usp=sharing
I'm accepting questions through to Monday morning (10 am EST). Depending on how many questions we get, I may not be able to answer them all, but I'm excited to chat with y'all! Hope you're all staying safe and warm.

What do you think of the middle earth miniatures from games-workshop. I'm curious if you like them and what your opinion on some of the designs. For example, I got my brother a Balrog for Christmas. He loved it but, Personally I would have preferred it that it wings would have more smoke than wings, but have the smoke barreling like two great wings. Just like how Token wrote it.

I'd love to get an insight into how you research your videos. You do such an amazing job in building your content. I'd like to see the alchemy behind the scenes :)

What did you think of Van Helsing (2004) with Hugh Jackman? Are you going to continue to break my heart by not watching Excalibur 1981?

Is their an author today that can write stories with mature themes but in a child's point of view. I guess compared to Tolkien...

My question is just state of channel/format going into 2025. I really enjoy the long, thoughtful video essays. I have so little free time anymore so they're 30-40min at the end of my week I can think deeply about something I enjoy. On the other hand, you're running a business, may get tired of the current format, etc.

Have you tried giving the boys broccoli yet, and if so did they eat it, make a nest out of it, or both?
