Poll 80 Results, Poll 81 and This Week
🕑 Added 2025-07-28 08:43:02 +0000 UTCPoll 80 saw a clear win for Armour Penetration, so I've gone out and found something to hurl shells at a Sherman... with somewhat surprising results I have to say.
The main effort this week is going to be putting an AAR video together. It's actually been a long time since a conventional one has gone up and even longer since we had some tank-on-tank action, so I'm currently aiming at one of the NTC Tank Training scenarios from CMCW. That'll also make a good lead in to the CMCW Company Challenge.
There's also a Bonus video for the Supertruppen in the works... definitely something different this time round, a bit more organised and experimental than usual. If it's successful it'll be a lot of fun for everyone I think. Lots of maps ;)
That brings us back round to this week's poll. We're back to moderns, which I dropped the ball on last time, so I reckon we can just open the floor up to the usual three. I don't think engagement tests like we did with the Ajax are really going to work with anything else- they'll probably just point more gaping holes in CM's spotting system.

I can safely say that about 20 minutes in, there is sadly a single burning M60. But that was my fault for peeking and the lone surviving crewman has watched the rest of the company dunk on the offending T80s in revenge.

I hope your CMCW AAR doesn’t trigger PTSD from my first playing of the NTC campaign, where I learned just how much the M60 was NOT a state-of-the-art MBT.
