The song "making my way" at the end was sang by Vex's VA, Laura Bailey - who btw, is a queen. The song is also paying homage to a meme in the campaign, every time they say "ill make my way over/there/inside" [as a very common phrase] everyone laughs and makes reference to '1000 miles' by Vanessa Carlton.

The Feywild and it's realm isn't something just Critical Role related. It's had many adaptations throughout dnd history and many inspirations from books and movies too. It's a classic fantasy realm where weird is only limited by your imagination. Just makes for a fantastic dnd adventure. Lol

Some fun facts about this episode: -We have the second hobbit actor joining the cast with Garmelie, who is played by Billy Boyd, the actor who played Pippin. (the first was Dominic Monaghan, who played Archie, percy's friend and rebel leader in season 1). -The ending song is a full song that got cut off for some reason by amazon, of that country song earlier in the episode, but sung (to quote Laura herself "Dramatically & seductively") by Laura Bailey (aka Vex'ahlia) -Speaking of singing, Ashley Johnson is actually an INCREDIBLE singer (Check out her version of "House of the Rising Sun" on youtube if you want an example), to the point she had to get vocal coaching on how to sing Worse as Ellie in the Last of Us because she sounded too skilled & polished initially. -In addition to countless more minor characters in the show, Matt Mercer (Critical Role's GM, world creator, & game runner) also plays both Umbrasyl (acid dragon with ripley) & Craven Edge (Sylas & grog's Sword) this season, in addition to playing Sylas & Orthax (percy's demon) last season. however there is 1 character this episode he voiced in the game and other episodes that gets voiced by a guest this episode: Trinket (Hence the "That's not what I thought you'd sound like" joke). Instead, Trinket is voiced by legendary comedian and smoker: Cheech Marin, from the hit comedy series "Cheech & Chong". -Speaking of dragon voices: Liam O Brien, who plays Vax, plays the Ice dragon, Vorugal as well. -In fact, all of the cast play various background characters through both seasons, in addition to occasionally designing background characters to look like members of the production team, and getting those crew to voice them.
