Rogue-Like v0.962
🕑 Added 2016-04-22 12:02:17 +0000 UTC Nothing too major in this version, a lot of the real work I'm doing isn't presentable yet, but this should fix most of the major bugs the last version had, at least. I honestly forget a lot of the tweaks I made on this one, aside from:-Added "let Rogue sleep in your room" option, which occurs whenever she happens to be in the room and you try to turn in. Let me know how this one works for you. This also involved tweaking how you sleep in her room a bit, so let me know if anything weird happens there.
-Tweaked the "knocking on her door" elements a bit, but haven't added in the "let you knock even if you have a key" option yet. Next build, probably.
-Tweaked the addiction dialogs a bit, they should feel a bit more natural, and in the repeatable version of it should more accurately reflect whether you have helped her at all, a little, or a lot with a given interaction. The goal in those encounters is to get her at least below 40%, otherwise she won't be satisfied by it, and that may take multiple rounds of contact, depending on the activity.
-Various other bug fixes, hopefully.

Ok, apparently this version has a few annoying bugs in it, I'll try and pin those down and get a new version out later tonight.

Ok, new version out, v0.962a. It fixes an issue related to her stripping appearing on the wrong side of the screen (which I hadn't been able to replicate before but figured out this time), fixed an issue with studying with her, and fixed a display bug during the addiction scenes.
Edit 3: Version 0.962b is out, that fixes an issue with the taboo system crashing out, and the R_Sleepover exception (which was basically just a misnamed variable).

I like how rogue asks you to bee her boyfriend but how about an option where you can pull the trigger on that? How about being able to return the favor tha blow job alarm clock she gives you while sleeping together? Some people like clams for breakfast.l

Ah, good catch! It came up because I added trigger resets to prevent that "floating hands when sex is interrupted" bug. Anyway, already fixed for the new version regardless, I moved to using the memory system to track what you'd be doing rather than trigger, which works better anyway. also it now properly adds memory triggers for whatever shenanigans happen during the date.

I noticed the dinner and movie date bug too. Did a quick test and it looks like Trigger3 gets reset to 0 right after set_the_scene is called after you get to the restaurant.

Ok, I think I know what's causing the second thing, but still no clue on the first. I think I'll just overhaul a chunk of the dating code because the newer methods work better anyway.

New bug if you lick Rouge thru her panties and she gets irritated and shifts them down each Keep Going after that will say she got irritated and shifted them down again.

When I did a date day 7 Friday that was going to the Restaurant and a Movie, after completing the Restaurant meal we went straight home. I have verified that it occurs when having a full time block, by going straight to Rouge and straight to going to the date.

That is so weird. I'm getting it too though. The workaround is to just lick "start game" a second time, then it starts normally, but I'll try to figure out what's causing it.

So, I have the weirdest of bugs to report. If you click your disclaimer button and then click start game, the menu graphics never change and you go through all the dialogue and everything just in the main menu lol. Side note, this new layout Patreon is forcing on people is fucking awful.

Did you buy the "non-addictive" power-up?
Sometimes it when the addiction rate is high like 7-10 and I lvl up it suddenly drops to 0 and it's very hard to raise above it

Hmm, that's odd. Like it never goes above zero again, or never goes about three, what's happening?
I have weird bug when i reach lvl 3 the addiction rate drops 0 and it doesn't raise higher?

Yeah, I've resolved that one. I think in the versions 962 and 0.962a that bug will pop up often during nighttime scenes, but it was an easy fix, the next version won't have it. Thanks!

Version A isn't as buggy I did just get one bug. I arrived in Rogue's room at night. Rogue is in a custom outfit (black tank,skirt) An exception has occured. While running game code File "game/script Locartions.rpy", line 249, in <module> NameError: name 'R_Sleepover'is not defined

I don't think version a was ready when you made your first response, so that's entirely my bad. The sleepover thing is still in, I might put out a version c tomorrow.

Ok, look to the 'my account logo in the top right corner of the screen, mouse over it to reveal a list of options including messages.
