Right, that gray screen is useful error messages. It will likely say something like "Variable not found" or something. If you can copy and paste that error message (typically just the part above the "full traceback" portion, then I can use that information to figure out what your save file is missing, and I can add an element to the next build that would fix that part, hopefully. My goal is to make the game work with every possibly save file.

Okay, I've found the renpy folder and the console file and I've set false to true but the ` doesn't open the console.

Well, I can try to make it not crash. What exactly is the error message you're getting? I try to patch up any time I make a major change, but sometimes they slip through. Typically if a save causes a crash, it's because I changed how some variable worked and didn't properly update it.

you use the console, for this you have to turn it on in a file. then you can edit it. mabee just maybee you can recover your old save, start the older version and save in your own room maybee even at different time of day. then try again. no guarantee if it helps. MC room is the less likely to crash when version updates according to Oni. I myself have alot of fun playing this game again from start, starting with another girl first after i met them all. doing other first "accidently" meeting, seeing how they react differently.

Even if the female had been present and then left before taking the shower. Was trying to see if I could repeat Laura's vanishing act when a girl join midway thru the shower. And maybee you could consider this: When you are starting with the girls, and try to udnress them. It is nearly impossible to let the girl remove her Pants or Skirt, the transition where she is fine with pants taken off, is mostly when she is fine with taking off her panties as well. the most used method by me to get her undress her pants without panties is for them to dance and undress on their own.

I am expieriencing a bug with the Girls in the Background, the girls shown as little symbols in the upper right corner. some examples: University square weekend morning the 3 girls, Join Party with one of them and change location, the girl in the background follows. These should not trigger unless their lust meters are high, but there are elements that can trigger them when their meters are high even if you aren't directly touching them, so that might be what's happening. Are you definitely looking at their own stat bar at the time?

It would be helpful if you experience this again to break down the exact sequence of events, who's room, who was there, what each person said.That would make it easier to step through and see where an extra "wait" command might be hiding. There shouldn't be anything *specific* going on there, but all girls make choices based on how much they like the other girls, so if they have a lower like level than with other girls, which is likely on an established game, then that needs working up.
